ex-cuse-u:

i was browsing through ellen degeneres’ youtube videos and when i was watching her interview segments i noticed a trend where she keeps the comments enabled for all of her adult interviews but when she has a child on the show she disables any of the comments to protect the child from any bullying or negative feedback and that is why she and her team of producers are incredible

this urn will turn you into a tree after you die

You can choose what kind of tree you want to become

Idk I just find this beautiful

just imagine cemeteries looking like this

a forest of living, changing, beautiful trees. I think a tombstone holds much more finality in death than a tree. It’s like you are living on symbolically through something greater than yourself.

this is a serious post about how much I want this. I’ll make sure my family knows.

Contrary to popular belief, the dairy cow isn’t a creature that magically produces milk by virtue of eating grass. Just like all other mammals, she must be pregnant in order to lactate.
In order to maintain uninterrupted milk production, the dairy industry exploits the female reproductive system. Cows are forced year after year to go through an endless cycle of pregnancy and birth, only to have their babies  taken from them usually only within hours from birth. Forcibly impregnating cows involves a person inserting his arm far into the cow’s rectum in order to position the uterus, and then forcing an instrument into her vagina. The restraining apparatus used is commonly called a “rape rack.”
Half of all calves born are male. Because male calves will not grow up to produce milk, they are considered of little value to the dairy farmer and are sold for meat. Millions of these calves are taken away to be raised for beef. Hundreds of thousands of other male calves born into the dairy industry are raised for veal. Most people consider veal to be cruel, but don’t realize that veal production is direct a product of the dairy industry. After just 4 to 6 years, dairy cows are “spent” from being forced to continuously produce milk. Often weak and ill, they endure transport to auction and slaughter, both of which are traumatic for these gentle animals. If allowed to exist free of exploitation and slaughter, cows can live 25 years or more.
All of this unnecessary suffering just so that you can have milk with your cornflakes? Please end this madness by ditching dairy and going vegan today. Choose a delicious plant based milk alternative instead.Thank you for reading.

Alternate milks for the win!
Also, humans are not supposed to drink other animal milk. Or human milk after a certain point. I heard that humans are the only animals that drink milk into adult hood. The whole point of cow milk is to make a tiny cow into a large cow. Which I dunno bout you, but I don’t think it would be very healthy to try and achieve cow capacity as a human.

Watching cheer competitions makes me wanna cheer again.

I miss flying. :(

Is it weird that sometimes I feel awkward buying healthy foods because I feel like everyone is like, “Oh my god, look at her. She is too skinny and is eating all this rabbit food. She probably has an eating disorder or something.” ?
